Chuck Standal, Funeral Director/Owner

Chuck grew up and graduated from high school in Detroit Lakes. He attended the University of Minnesota graduating with a degree in Mortuary Science in 1985. After college, he remained in Minneapolis, MN as a funeral director for eight years returning back home to Detroit Lakes in 1993. Chuck is a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kiwanis, and Sons of Norway. He has two daughters, Katie and Laura. Chuck enjoys hunting and golfing in his spare time.

Mitch Baumgartner, Funeral Director

Mitch is a Bismarck, ND native. He attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, IL, graduating in 1998. Mitch and his wife, Tarrin are members of First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes. He is also a member of Morning Rotary and Sons of Norway #495. in Detroit Lakes. Mitch and his wife, Tarrin enjoy hunting and fishing in their spare time. They have one daughter, Jaelyn.

Marjorie Berg, Administrative Assistant

Marjorie grew up in Winger, MN. She graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College with a AAS degree in Sales and Marketing. Marjorie is married to Mike and they have one son, Devon. Her family belongs to First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes. She is a committee member of Relay for Life. She enjoys time spent with her family, movies, and scrapbooking.

Leslie Heimark, Unlicensed Funeral Assistant

Les was born and raised in the Cormorant/Pelican Rapids area. He graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1962. He worked for 44 ½ years as an accountant in the Detroit Lakes/Moorhead area. Les and his wife Donna have three children and eight grandchildren. Les and Donna are members of Trinity Lutheran Church Detroit Lakes and are members of The Sons of Norway # 495. They both enjoy fishing and camping. Les retired in December, 2006 and Donna works for American National Bank, Detroit Lakes.

Bob Silseth, Unlicensed Funeral Assistant

I am a retired educator, married to Linda , we have three children Heather, Michelle and Chad. We live on Star Lake near Dent, Minnesota. I taught school for 36 years, the last 25 years in Pelican Rapids High School. I enjoy fishing, hunting and sporting events. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with grand children.
