Kim L. Leitheiser

d. July 31, 2009

Our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, friend, passed away Friday July 31, 2009, with her family surrounding her bedside, with loving prayers and memories of our time we had with Kim. Kim was born November 16, 1959 to Robert and Deloris Anderson in Renton, Washington. Shortly afterwards her parents brought her back to the Detroit Lakes area, where Kim grew up, along with her three brothers and one sister. Kim completed her high school education in Audubon, Minnesota. Kim spent some years traveling with a sales company where she got to see a lot of the county. Kim came back home afterwards, where she met her husband of twenty-five years, Steve Leitheiser. They were married October 13, 1984, with their only son, Tylor present, and three years later they had their only girl, Stephanie. Kim was a very beautiful, outgoing, ambitious, caring, strong, enthusiastic, sassy, independent, and loud-n-proud lady. She proceeded to work as a CNA; she completed college courses for administrative assistant. Kim was employed with CTS Trucking Co. as Trucking Broker/Saleswomen, Office Assistant for over eighteen years with the same company. Kim loved her family very much; she purely loved her horses, totally thrived on working and creating her beautiful flower gardens. Kim was happy when she was camping, fishing in the warm sunshine, four wheeling, and spending time with friends. Kim is survived by her parents, Dee and Robert Anderson, her husband, Steve Leitheiser, her two children; Tylor and Stephanie Leitheiser all of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, two stepsons; Travis and Jason Leitheiser, three brothers; Bruce Anderson of Savage, Minnesota, Brian (Janet) Anderson of Superior, Wisconsin, Brad (Lea) Anderson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, one sister; Marcy (Chuck) Blackburn of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, nieces and nephews; Derek, Justin, Jamie, Isaac, Tony, Kari, Karli, Katie, Parker, Brian, Andrew, Kim, and Gary. Preceding Kim in death were her brother Robert Jr. Anderson, Infant, her grandparents; Kenneth and Adeline Aery, Peter and Olaug Anderson, father-in-law; Herbert Leitheiser of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
