Douglas James Dalve

Douglas James Dalve, 70, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Frazee Care Center, Frazee, Minnesota. Doug was born on November 10, 1942, the son of Orin and Thelma (Wallace) Dalve in Ponsford, Minnesota. He attended country schools and public schools in Waubun and Callaway. Doug was drafted into the United States Army and served in Germany. He retired from the Becker County Sheriff's Department. Doug is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl and Katherine Warren; two grandchildren, Tawny and Nathaniel Warren all of White Earth, MN; wife of seventeen years, Diana (Dick) Dalve and her children and grandchildren, John Heacox of Lisbon, ND; Jerrod (Jill) Heacox and Julie Heacox of West Fargo, ND; Juston(Allisha) Heacox of Honolulu, HI; father-in-law, Harold Dick of Lisbon, ND , who Doug was very close to and enjoyed spending time with him; brother, Kenneth Dalve of Shakopee, MN; sister, Ruth Monroe of Detroit Lakes, MN and their families; numerous nieces and nephews. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Orrine Anderson and brother, Wallace Dalve.
