Theodore Marvin Blauert

Theodore M. Blauert age 71 of Frazee, MN died December 10, 2013 at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota. Theodore Marvin Blauert was born April 17, 1942 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Theodore and Ann Fredrich Blauert. He grew up and attended school in Frazee, MN, graduating from Frazee High School in 1960. He then worked on a construction crew building bridges in South Dakota. On November 22, 1963 he was united in marriage to Barbara J. Illg at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Evergreen, MN. They made their home and raised their family in rural Frazee, MN. Over the years Ted farmed, hauled turkeys for the Swift Co., and drove a Roadgrater and Snowplow for Height of Land Township. Ted served on the Height of Land Township Board for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending auction sales. Ted is survived by his wife Barbara; six daughters, Lori (Patrick) Stalberger, of Callaway, MN; Kim Blauert, of Pelican Rapids, MN; Brenda (Jerry) Lawrence, of Detroit Lakes, MN; Lisa (Ken) Swedberg, of Ogema, MN; Debra (Chris) Berg, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Becky Blauert, of Fargo, ND; four sons, Bruce Blauert, of Frazee, MN; Theo (Sarah) Blauert, of Detroit Lakes, MN; Randy Blauert, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Jamie Blauert, of Frazee, MN; twenty one grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Connie (Denny) Oswald, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and two nieces and one nephew. Ted was preceded in death by one son, Scot Blauert; and one granddaughter, Ashley Moe.
