Corinne Faye Beug, 60, of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014. She was born June 29, 1954 in Pelican Rapids, MN, the daughter of Carlton and Martha (West) Nelson. After attending country school until seventh grade, Corinne graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1972. She relocated to Washington State where she resided until 1976. On February 16, 1980 she was united in marriage to Bruce Beug in Detroit Lakes, MN, where they made their home, and were blessed with a family of two children. Corinne, known for her warm, compassionate demeanor, made her joy of caring for others also her profession; receiving her LPN degree in 1982, and her RN degree in 1986 from St. Cloud School of Nursing. Throughout her career, she worked in many different areas including St. Mary's Hospital, Dakota Clinic, Hospice of the Red River Valley, and travel nursing to Galveston, TX, and Minneapolis, MN. In her spare time she enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, cooking, baking, and most of all, spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren. Corinne is survived by her husband, Bruce Beug of Detroit Lakes, MN; son, Joshua (Amanda) Beug of Alamogordo, NM; daughter, Megan (Lee) Disse of Detroit Lakes, MN; four grandchildren, Kaileigh, Miyah, and Ellie Beug, Oliver Disse; two brothers, Dean (Linda) Nelson of Vergas, MN; Dennis (Isa) Nelson of Pembroke Pines, FL; numerous nieces and nephews. Corinne is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Aaron Nelson.
