Ronald Edgar DeGroat

Ronald Edgar DeGroat, 67 of St. Cloud, Minnesota, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at VA Health Care System in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Ron was born on June 27, 1947, the son of Edgar and Dorothy(Glenn) DeGroat in Munich, Germany. He received his education in Georgia, New Mexico, Richfield, MN and at Otis Air Force Base in Massachusetts. Ron served in the United States Navy until he became disabled. He lived in California and Minneapolis. He has resided in St. Cloud since 1987. Ron is survived by his three brothers, Edgar (Yun) DeGroat Jr. of Madison, AL; Kevin DeGroat of Manassas, Virginia; David (Patti) DeGroat of Ogema, MN; sister, Gloria (Donald) Smith of Albany, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Degroat.
