Mark A Knudsen Sr. 57, Rochert, Minnesota died Monday, August 10, 2015 in rural Becker County, Minnesota. Mark was born on August 30, 1957, the son of George and Darlene "Tootie" (Selck) Knudsen in Virginia, Minnesota. He was raised and educated in Biwabik and Frazee, Minnesota. Shortly after school Mark traveled the United States working for the Dretcher Carnival. He also worked construction in Texas before returning to Minnesota. Most of his working career Mark drove truck for various companies in the area. He also was an owner/operator of his own truck. Mark enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing and camping. He loved the outdoors and the experiences that came with it. Mark's true passion in life was his family, friends and especially his grandchildren. Mark is survived by his wife, Lori Knudsen, Rochert, MN; sons, Brad (Shelly) Knudsen, Frazee, MN; Mark Knudsen Jr., Detroit Lakes, MN; five grandchildren, Amelia Knudsen, Leah Weidmann, Maryia Knudsen, Quinten Knudsen and Angel Schaefer; mother, Tootie Wilson, Rochert, MN; father, George (Lorraine) Knudsen, Frazee, MN; siblings, Chris (Don) Abner, Ten Strike, MN; Marty Knudsen, Missoula, MT; LaDene (Wayne) Earley, Frazee, MN; Shaun Wilson, Aberdeen, SD; Dan Wilson, Texas; Tammy Yost, Aberdeen, SD; Randy (Rhonda) Wilson, Detroit Lakes, MN; Michelle Oelfke, Frazee, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by twin sons, Cory and Casey Knudsen, step-father, Sonny Wilson and one brother, George Knudsen III.
