David Charles Marvel

David C. Marvel age 58 of Detroit Lakes, MN died Sunday August 9, 2015 in rural Pelican Rapids, MN. David Charles Marvel was born November 8, 1956 in East Chicago, Indiana to Robert and Geraldine Sharo Marvel. He grew up and attended school in Schererville, Indiana. The family later moved and David graduated from high school in Minong, Wisconsin. He then attended Moorhead State University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications. In 1981 he married Peggy Otto in Ray, MN. Over the years they lived in Warroad, Roseau, and Moorhead, MN. He has lived in Detroit Lakes and worked for Modern Heating and Plumbing for the past ten years. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. He is survived by one daughter, Katie (Jason) Stone, of West Fargo, ND; two sons, Joshua Marvel, of Phoenix, AZ; and Heath Marvel, of St. Paul, MN; four grandchildren, Chloe Marvel, of Moorhead, MN; and Gavin, Liam, and Christian Stone, of West Fargo, ND; one brother, Bobby Marvel, of Williams, MN; two sisters, Denise (Phillip) Stodgell, of Warroad, MN; and Kathy Beaudry, of Roseau, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
