Joyce E. Beyer

Joyce E. Beyer, 79, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Frazee Care Center, Frazee, Minnesota. Joyce was born on August 21, 1935 to Edward and Lillie (Krueger) Schroeder in Fargo, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Chaffee and Wheatland, North Dakota. Joyce married Donald Beyer in Moorhead, Minnesota on October 28th 1953. They made their home in Fargo, until moving to Detroit Lakes in 1960. She worked for Swift Turkey and in the food service industry until her health forced her to retire. Joyce enjoyed listening to country music and was a great cook. She also enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. Joyce is survived by three daughters, Jonell (Don) Sapp of Perham, MN; Kathy (James) Braseth of Fargo, ND; Tammy Vezner (Gary Kertscher) of Detroit Lakes, MN; three sons, Dale Beyer (Cindy Sue Young) and Laurel Beyer both of Frazee, MN; Michael Beyer( Georgia Berger) of Detroit Lakes, MN; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald, daughter, Valorie Beyer, grandson, Zachery Beyer, one brother, Horton Schroeder, three sisters, Lois Stangeland, Margene_Zaeske and LaVerne Beyer.
