Lois O. Sharp, 91, Audubon, Minnesota died Saturday, December 05, 2015 at Oak Crossing, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Lois was born on May 10, 1924, the daughter of James and Elvira (Knudson) MacNab in Albert Lea, Minnesota.. As a young child she moved to rural Audubon, Minnesota with her family. Lois was raised and educated in Audubon, graduating from high school in 1942. She then attended Concordia College, graduating in 1946 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in teaching. Lois taught Social Studies for five years in Elbow Lake, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Cameron Sharp on December 27, 1950 at First Lutheran Church in Audubon. They made their home on Lois’s family farmstead, where she left her teaching career to help with the daily operation on the farm and raise her family. Lois loved the farm life and the animals that came with it. She encouraged her children to be active in   4-H, attended their sporting events and school activities.   Lois was active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and at First Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday School and was also active with circle. She also would sing at weddings and funerals for many years. Lois and Cameron enjoyed dancing, traveling, and they were involved in a card club in Audubon for many years. Lois is survived by her sons, Jim Sharp of Audubon, MN; Barrett (Mary) Sharp of Audubon, MN; daughter, Oliane(Paul) Sharp Anderson of Wadena, MN; four grandchildren, Megan (Ryan) Lindsay, Garrick Sharp, Beth Anderson and Katie Anderson. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Cameron (2007).
