James Albert Bergstrom

James Albert Bergstrom age 73 of Frazee, MN formerly of Rochert, MN died Tuesday January 12, 2016 at the Frazee Care Center in Frazee, MN. James Albert Bergstrom was born October 7, 1942 in Fargo, ND to Gust and Mary Ryan Bergstrom. The family moved to a farm in rural Rochert, MN when Albert was an infant. He grew up on that farm and attended school in Frazee. He farmed the family farm his entire life. He has been a resident of the Frazee Care Center since July of 2014. Albert was a very kind, soft spoken man. He enjoyed tending to his cattle, cutting wood, and gardening. He loved children, and animals, and had a special bond with his dog “Smokey”. He is survived by three brothers, Billy Bergstrom, John Bergstrom, and David (Lora) Bergstrom, all of Rochert, MN; one sister, Esther (LeRoy) Baumgart, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Bergstrom and Michael Bergstrom; an infant sister, Mary Ann; two sisters in law, Betty Bergstrom and Shirley Bergstrom; one niece, Linda Nord; and his parents.
