Brenda Lee Ames

Brenda L. Ames age 54 of Detroit Lakes, MN died January 28, 2016 at her residence under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Brenda Lee Ames was born March 5, 1961 in Minneapolis, MN to John and Mary (Conzemius) Zajac. She grew up in Minneapolis and on August 27, 1983 she was united in marriage to Terry Ames. Brenda enjoyed fishing, camping, and horseback riding. Brenda enjoyed outside hobbies as well as indoor hobbies. Before she became ill on June 13, 2013 she was employed by KFC in Detroit Lakes. Brenda touched many lives. She was a very caring person, and now she will be looking over us as an Angel. She is survived by her husband Terry, three sisters, Sharon Curo, of Hackensack, MN; Carol Anderson, of Albert Lea, MN; and Shirley Reinhartz, of Coon Rapids, MN; one brother, John Zajac Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, George Zajac.
