Jane Mary Radermacher

Jane M. Ries Radermacher age 52 of Brainerd, MN, formerly of Detroit Lakes, MN died Saturday February 6, 2016 at her residence. Jane Mary Ries Radermacher was born in New Ulm, Minnesota on October 1, 1963 to Mauritius (Maury) and Clara Ries. She was the youngest of 6 children. In 1970, her family moved to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. She graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1982 and went on to participate as a scholarship college athlete in tennis at St. Cloud State University.   In 1986, she married Jay Radermacher. She became the mother of 2 beautiful children.  Jacob was born in 1989 and Jamie in 1993.  The family resided in Moorhead, Minnesota, Billings, Montana and Tualatin, Oregon.  In 2012, Jane returned to Minnesota, residing in Brainerd. Jane’s career revolved around retail. She held managerial positions at Scheels, Walmart and most recently Herbergers. Jane loved her life as a mom. She was so proud of her children. She traveled throughout the states supporting Jake and Jamie in their sports of hockey, gymnastics, and dance.  In her younger years, Jane enjoyed playing tennis and softball.  She enjoyed time spent on the lakes, boating and floating on an air mattress. Jane also enjoyed spending time with her parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews.  Her caring heart will be missed by all. Jane is survived by her son Jacob Radermacher; daughter Jamie Radermacher; parents Maury and Clara Ries; brothers John (Cathy) Ries , Bill (Julie) Ries; sisters Sue(Wayne) Ristvedt, Cathy (Russell) Seaberg, Julie Walker (John Pearson); 17 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Joseph and Rose Pivonka and Albert and Elsie Ries.
