Carol M. Linden age 75 of White Earth, MN died Monday June 20, 2016 at her residence under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Carol Mae Linden was born January 7, 1941 in White Earth, MN to Floyd and Evelyn (Cogger) Leu. Her early years were spent going to school and helping her Mother, Father and siblings, which prepared her for a life full of knowledge of many useful exciting experiences. Over the years she worked numerous places, including the Swift Turkey Plant and The Refuge both in Detroit Lakes, MN and also as a waitress in various restaurants in the area. On July 3, 1982 she was united in marriage to Richard Linden at Bakke Lutheran Church in rural Detroit Lakes. Carol enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, baking, cooking, and Morel mushroom gathering. She was also an avid reader and bird watcher. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting and made many quilts and dolls over the years. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and time spent with family. She was a very kind, soft spoken lady. She is survived by two daughters, Jamie Fitzpatrick, of Kansas City, MO; and Shari Bellcourt, of Ogema, MN; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five sisters, Beverly (Bud) Carlson, of Ogema, MN; Darlene (Curt) Ballard, of Ogema, MN; Evelyn Moore, of Callaway, MN; Patti (Phil) Stalberger, of Waubun, MN; and Pamela Lehmann, of Ogema, MN; four brothers, Kenneth Leu, of Callaway, MN; Terry (Ellen) Leu, of Mahnomen, MN; Daniel Leu, of Callaway, MN; and Michael (Lucille) Leu, of West Fargo, ND; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard (2016); two brothers, Ronnie and Lonnie Leu; one sister, Sharon Lasker; and her parents.
