Doris M. Britton

  Doris M. Britton age 89 of Detroit Lakes, MN died September 19, 2016 at the Frazee Care Center in Frazee, MN. Doris was born May 3, 1927 in Sioux City, Iowa to Howard and Alice (Swedean) Lebeck. She was united in marriage to Donald R. Britton on August 7, 1972 in Bremerton, WA. They made their home in Bremerton until moving to Detroit Lakes, MN in 1987. She enjoyed crafts, going to flea markets, and church bazaars. She is survived by her niece, Trudi Fuhrmann, of Upland, CA; two step daughters, Pam (Ken) Gulseth, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Donna (Jeff) David, Of Bremerton, WA; step son, Neil (Linda) Britton, of Preston, MN; nine step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; and sister in law, Peggy (Lyle) Leegard, of Detroit Lakes, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Britton; and a sister, Marjorie Culver. Memorial Services will be on Tuesday, October 11, 2016; 11:00 a.m. at the West-Kjos Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
