Robert E. Estlick

Robert E. Estlick age 72 of Detroit Lakes, MN died October 3, 2016 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND. Robert Edward Estlick was born September 4, 1944 in Perham, MN to Duane and Gladys (Baumgart) Estlick. He grew up and attended country school in Amor Township. He graduated from high school at the Maplewood Academy in Hutchinson, MN. He moved to Detroit Lakes and worked in the maintenance department at St. Mary’s Hospital. He later worked as a self-employed painter. He enjoyed gardening, and provided the Food Pantry with many vegetables over the years. He also was active in his church, always willing to help out where ever needed. Bob is survived by two uncles, Raymond (Luella) Baumgart, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and LeRoy (Esther) Baumgart; of Detroit Lakes, MN; and many cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two uncles, Wayne Baumgart and Arland Baumgart. Memorial Services will be on Monday, October 10, 2016: 11:00 a.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Detroit Lakes, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday. Interment will be in the Basswood Cemetery in Amor Township, MN. Arrangements have been entrusted to the West-Kjos Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes, MN.
