Edna M. Fisher

Edna Mae Fisher age 92, of Detroit Lakes, MN died January 23, 2017 at Ecumen – Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, MN. Edna Mae Fisher was born June 17, 1924 in Tomah, WI to Louie and Rachel (Ellingham) Andres. She grew up and graduated from Tomah High School. She worked at the Elgin Watch Factory and also for the Munsingwear Company. On June 24, 1942 she was united in marriage to Cecil J. Fisher in Tomah, WI. This marriage was blessed with three children and Edna enjoyed caring for her family and her home. She enjoyed Embroidery, playing cards, and rocking in her rocking chair. She is survived by two sons, Terry (Barb) Fisher; and Delmar (Jean) Fisher; one daughter, Kathy Ladwig; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and one sister, Sandi Altrichter. Graveside Services will be held on Friday May 5, 2017; 12 noon at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.
