Ilo J. Hendrickson

Ilo J. Hendrickson age 72 of Detroit Lakes, MN died September 28, 2017 at Sanford Health – Palliative Care, in Fargo, ND. Ilo Judelle Hendrickson was born December 22, 1944 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Kermit and Charlotte Anderson Hendrickson. She grew up and attended school in Lake Park, MN, graduating from Lake Park High School in 1963. She then attended the Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND and became a Legal Secretary. She worked for the Wefald Law office in Hawley, MN and later moved to Minneapolis where she would spend the next twenty five years working for the Hennepin County Welfare Dept. and then as a personal care attendant. She moved back to Detroit Lakes, where she worked for MAHUBE and the museum. Her Church and her family were very important to Ilo. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, and was an avid reader. She also always looked forward to the High Mileage Club meetings. She is survived by two sisters, Julie (Randy) Boyer, of Audubon, MN; and Darla (Kenneth) Maves, of Frazee, MN; five brothers, Ronald (Mary) Hendrickson, of Lake Park, MN; Darwin (Cindy) Hendrickson, of Frazee, MN; Owen Hendrickson, of Lake Park, MN; Kevin Hendrickson, of Lake Park, MN; and Duane “Lars” Hendrickson, of Lake Park, MN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister in law, Ruth Hendrickson.
