Ann Marie Seim

Ann Marie (Yocom) Seim age 68 of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away January 18, 2022, under Hospice care and the support of her family.

Ann was born December 15, 1953, in Bloomington, MN to Vernon and Marion Yocom. In her early teens her family moved from the Minneapolis area to Detroit Lakes. She graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1971. She then attended business school. On November 3, 1973, she was united in marriage to Tom Seim. They made their home and raised their two boys Jeff and Greg in Detroit Lakes.

Ann enjoyed Horseback riding, playing Guitar, growing flowers, and taking thousands of pictures of her flowers and nature.

Ann is survived by her husband, Tom; two sons, Jeff (Kayla), of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Greg (Teresa), of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Rileigh and Dustin; one sister, Kathy (Mike) Dittmar, of Maple Grove, MN; four brothers, Dan (Joy Wheeler) Yocom, of Detroit Lakes, MN; Tom (Cindi) Yocom, of Wesley Chapel, FL; Jon (Natalee) Yocom, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Joe (Amy) Yocom, of Matthews, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Craig Yocom.

Ann was loved and will be missed by family, friends, and co-workers.

A private family Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held at a later date.
