Audrey Marie Minnerath

Audrey M. Minnerath age 56 of Moorhead, MN formerly of Detroit Lakes, MN died December 9, 2018 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Audrey Marie Minnerath was born October 14, 1962 in Perham, MN to Roger and Bernice (Wegsheid) Wirth. The family moved to Detroit Lakes when Audrey was a young girl. She grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes, graduating from high school there. She then attended the Detroit Lakes Vocational and Technical College. Over the years she worked for various businesses in the area including MediVan, Ice Cracking Lodge, and Nereson’s. She moved to Moorhead in 2012. Audrey enjoyed working with her father in his electrical contracting business and also on the farm. She also enjoyed gardening, baking, rummage sales, and the special bond she had with her dog “Rocco.” Time spent with her grandchildren was very important to her. She is survived by one daughter, Crista Mullins, of St. Cloud, MN; three grandchildren, Shauntaye, Ar’Tasea, and Da’Mari; three sisters, Renee (Kerwin) Lomsdalen, of Ulen, MN; Brenda (Lester Jr.) Kiehl, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Pam (Robert) Legg, of Grand Forks, ND; one brother, Jeff (Cynthia) Wirth, of Callaway, MN; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; nephew, Jeremy Harstad; and aunts and uncles. Memorial Services will be on Saturday December 15, 2018; 11:00 a.m. at the Assumption Catholic Church in Callaway, MN. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the West-Kjos Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, MN with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m.
