Betty J. Krause

Betty J. Krause age 93 of Detroit Lakes, MN died November 23, 2020 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Betty Krause was born on July 29, 1927 in Fargo, ND and spent some of her childhood there prior to moving to the Rochert area with her parents. Betty was a farm gal, housewife and loving mother. She had a beautiful voice and spent many Sundays singing solos or duets with her parents in the Pinewood Chapel of Rochert, MN. She also used her voice in singing at various nursing homes in the Detroit Lakes area spreading her hope and song of praise to God. Betty was truly a prayer warrior in her 93 years on earth and now is home with her savior.

She is survived by one son, Roger Krause; two daughters Sandra Morrison and Diane Dow; three grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Keith; her parents Clifford and Marian Johnson; and her grandson Robert Krause.

Funeral Services will be on Monday November 30, 2020; 11:00 a.m. at the West-Kjos Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, MN.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Senjen Cemetery, Rochert, MN.
