Bruce Schroeder

Bruce A. Schroeder age 61 of Detroit Lakes, MN died August 6, 2020 at Ecumen – Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Bruce Arnold Schroeder was born January 28, 1959  in Detroit Lakes, MN to Donald and Marjorie (Gebeke) Schroeder.  He grew up and received his education in Detroit Lakes, graduating from Detroit Lakes High School in 1977. He then attended the Detroit Lakes Vocational and Technical College, where he studied Small Engine Repair. In 1979 he moved to Hall’s Crossing, Utah, where he worked for Dell Webb Marine. In 1982, he started a career with Mercury Marine in Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. In 2001 he moved back to Detroit Lakes and worked for SJE Rhombus.

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie, of Detroit Lakes, MN; one brother, Steven (Connie) Schroeder, of Detroit Lakes, MN; one nephew and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Schroeder.

No services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the West-Kjos Funeral Home of Detroit Lakes.
