Carl Malvick

Carl H. Malvick age 72 of Frazee, MN died March 7, 2024, at Perham Health in Perham, MN.

Carl Henry Malvick was born May 7, 1951, in Evergreen, MN to Elmer and Doris (Sharping) Malvick. He graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1969. Carl owned and operated Lakes Shoe Repair in Detroit Lakes, along with his wife Bersy, for over forty years.

Carl was a wonderful husband and best friend. He was humble, loved the Lord, loved fishing, gardening, and building bird houses. He was also a great carpenter. Over the years he   remodeled the family home and constructed all the decks and walkways. Carl and Bersy have been members at First Baptist Church in Detroit Lakes for many years.

He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Bersy; his pup, Honeybear; mother-in-law, Mary Nuttall; two cousins, Janice and Janelle; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lorraine and Lucille; five brothers, Robert, Clarence, Richard, Connie, and Donnie; uncles, Walter and Art; aunt, Millie; father-in-law; John Nuttall; and sisters-in-law, Kathy and Tammy.
