Baby Colter John Vogel (7lbs 15oz; 19.5 inches) was born at 11:17 PM on May 18, 2026, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN and baptized shortly thereafter. He passed away peacefully in the arms of his devoted parents on May 19, 2026. Although his time on earth was brief, Colter’s life was filled with unconditional love and touched the hearts of all who awaited and welcomed him.
Colter John is lovingly remembered by his parents, Kyle and Dorothea (Clark) Vogel; his grandparents, Stephen and Ruth Clark, Scott Vogel (Toni), and Melissa Vogel (Corey); his uncles, Daniel Clark and Matthew Clark; his aunt and Godparents, Karly Vogel (Damian); his great-grandparents, Janet Clark, Tom (Marcia) Clark, Steve and Jeanette Kenney, and Fred and Evelyn Vogel; and many other family members and friends.
Colter John was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, John and Dorothy Downs, who are now tasked with helping guide his journey in Heaven.
While words cannot ease the sorrow of losing a child, Colter’s memory will live forever in the hearts of those who loved him. He brought love, hope, and meaning to life in his short time here on earth. For Jesus said,
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” — Matthew 19:14
