Dale Eugene Williams Jr.  was born on January 14, 1950, in Fargo, ND to Dale and Rose (Januscheitis) Williams Sr. Dale was raised in the Fargo, Moorhead area. He graduated from Moorhead High School with the class of 1967. After high school, he attended the Detroit Lakes Technical College for culinary arts.  He worked for the Audubon Supper Club before becoming an over the road truck driver. Dale worked for various trucking companies throughout his career. He retired in 2017 to be with his wife on Tamarac Lake.

On May 14th, 1977, Dale was united in marriage to Sandra Tovson in Audubon, MN. The couple lived for many years in Glyndon, MN where they raised their family before buying a lake home and moving to Pelican Rapids.

Dale enjoyed fishing, riding his lawn mower, watching the Cubs, Vikings, Weather Channel, History Channel, and spending time with his family. He was known as a loving, outgoing, but stubborn man. He loved his animals and being outside.

Left to mourn Dale’s passing are his wife of 45 years Sandra; children Tim (Colleen) Karger, Jason (Steph) Williams, and Melissa Bugg; grandchildren Kayley (Austin) Peterson, Hunter Karger, and Destiney Bugg; great-grandchildren; Otto Peterson, Wylie Peterson, and Ramsey Peterson; favorite cat Izzy; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Preceding Dale in death are his parents Dale Sr. and Rose; sister Toni Holman; and grandson Noah Williams.
