Donald Scott Dilley

Donald Scott Dilley went to be with our Lord on September 11, 2019. Born in Spokane, Washington on June 15, 1952, he moved to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota in 2002 with wife Mary Dilley. Don worked in the construction field for most of his life. He loved spending time with family and friends. Whether you were blood related or not, everyone was considered family until the end, including the mother of his children Jeanne Gallegos. Don is preceded in death by his father Jack Dilley (1989), mother Gloria Schneider (2016), wife Mary Dilley (2011), brother Steven Wright (1959), and brother Darrold Dilley (2011). He is survived by his sisters Deborah Wittwer and Cynthia Schneider; brothers David Dilley, Dan Schneider, Jimmy Schneider, and Carl Schneider; daughters Tina Benefield (Jody) and Pamela Dilley; and son Steven Dilley (Kiley). Don has 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Per his request, he will be cremated and sent back to his children in Washington. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
