Donald Heinen

Donald Eugene Heinen was born July 10, 1956 in Wheaton, Minnesota, the son of Edgar and Ruby (Peterson) Heinen. He grew up in White Rock, South Dakota and attended school in Rosholt. Don worked at Steiger Tractor in Fargo, and later found his true passion in selling cars as an independent car dealer. Don enjoyed cars and motorcycles. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and would take part in different events and Toy Runs. Don and Sheila met in 1980 and later married, spending 38 years together. They were currently living in Twin Valley. Don gave his life to Jesus and went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2018, under the care of the Frazee Care Center. Don is survived by his wife: Sheila Widme-Heinen of Twin Valley; sister: Mary Heinen of Wahpeton; brothers: Dennis (Carol) Heinen, Stan (Mary) Heinen, Mike (Sharlene) Heinen all of Wahpeton; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law: JoAnn Widme of Twin Valley; Don was preceded in death by his parents: Edgar and Ruby Heinen; brother: Gene Heinen.
