Donald Walter Kohler, age 84, passed away October 14, 2025 at his home in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Born on June 15, 1941, Donald dedicated much of his life to the Steel Workers Union, where he worked with pride and commitment.

Donald is survived by his son Scott (Shelly) Kohler, his daughter Kathy (Dan) Zahler, and his brother Dave (Beverly) Kohler. He was a cherished grandfather to 6 grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to 8 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Kohler, and his parents Donald and May Kohler.

His legacy of hard work, love, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him
