Doris D. Dahlsad

Doris D. Dahlsad age 91 of Detroit Lakes, MN died April 16, 2020 at Essentia Health – Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Doris Della Dahlsad was born March 1, 1929 in Pelican Rapids, MN to James and Anna (Dillerud) Dunham. She attended country school near her home and later attended Hawley High School, where she graduated in 1947. On November 13, 1948 she was united in marriage to Orville Dahlsad in Hawley, MN. They made their home and farmed near Borup, MN until moving to Detroit Lakes in 1986.

Doris enjoyed dancing and collecting dolls. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.

She is survived by one daughter, Geraldine (Keith) Berg, of The Villages, FL; two sons, Milton (Val) Dahlsad, of Ada, MN; and Ronnie Dahlsad, of Detroit Lakes, MN; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Sharon) Dunham, of Oxnard, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Orville; one sister, Bernice Iverson; three brothers, Jerry Dunham, Dale Dunham, and Emil Dunham; and a daughter in law, DeeAnn Dahlsad.
