Dorothy Paulson

Dorothy Paulson 91, of Lake Park, MN, passed away at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital, on Saturday April 6, 2019. Dorothy Krabbenhoft was born on January 23, 1928 to Charles and Freda (Berg) Krabbenhoft in Sabin, MN.  She was raised in the Rochert area and graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1948. After high school, Dorothy went to college at Moorhead State Teachers College. On July 4, 1953, Dorothy was united in marriage to LeRoy Paulson in Detroit Lakes, MN. She taught school in Gary, MN, Browns Valley, Audubon, and Lake Park.  In 1993, she retired from teaching after 42 years. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with family. Dorothy is survived by her brother Ardell (Pat) Krabbenhoft; nephews Keith (Brenda) Krabbenhoft, Kenneth Krabbenhoft and Larry Krabbenhoft; nieces Barbara Ross, Sherri (Don) Haberlock, Susan (Bill) Marr; special friend Jesse Covey; and her furry companion Tippy. She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy; parents Charles and Freda; brothers Charles and Emil Krabbenhoft.
