Douglas Wayne Carlson

Douglas Wayne Carlson was born October 12, 1965 in La Puente, California the son of George and Jeanette (Anderson) Carlson. He passed away January 25, 2021 at the University of Minnesota-Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis. He moved to the Detroit Lakes area as a young boy and graduated from Detroit Lakes high school. Doug started Midwest Stucco and traveled the country with his company. He later started Richwood Boys Ranch working with teenage boys that needed direction. Doug loved his ranch life, raising Buffalo, beef cattle and working horses, animals, and riding 4-wheelers. He loved spending time with his family and visiting with people. He is survived by his parents: George and Jeanette Carlson; brothers: Calvin (Liz) Carlson; Mike Carlson; nieces: Heather, Sara, Bridget, Jade; nephews: Matt and Dave; good friend Brandon Braun; and his dogs: Lucy and Bella. Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents; niece: Jennifer Carlson; good friend: Andrew Braun. Memorial Folder
