Douglas Dean Jacobson

Douglas D. Jacobson age 64 of Detroit Lakes, MN, formerly of Blue Earth, MN died May 21, 2018 at his residence. Memorial Services will be on Saturday May 26, 2018; 3:00 p.m. at the West-Kjos Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Douglas Dean Jacobson was the only son of Donald Dean Jacobson and LaVonne Joann Jacobson, or “Don and Bonnie” as they liked to be called.  He was grandson to Tom and Sena Jacobson.  Doug had 3 children with his wife Arlys; Shannon Buerkle, Casey Winders, and Donavon Vinny Jacobson(Sadly we lost Donavon last year).  Their spouses, Richard Buerkle, Cliff Winders, and Kristi Morin Jacobson.  He had 6 grandchildren who he loved dearly.  Sena and Wyatt Buerkle, Gavin Winders, and Dominic, Kayla, and Dagr Jacobson. He will be greatly missed.
