E. Elaine Larson

Ellen Elaine Larson, age 92, passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Care Center, in Lake Park, MN on Wednesday, February 5, 2020.

She was born March 6, 1927 in Audubon Township, MN to Oscar L. and Emma Johnson. She married Donald C. Larson in 1949. Having two children Deanne and DuWayne, they built a life in the Lake Park area. She worked many years for Dr. Midthune as his secretary. Elaine was always up for a good time. Whether it was her love for dancing, fishing, hunting, playing music with the family or a good old game of cards. Friends and family were always welcome at the Larson home.

She is preceded in death by husband, Donald; daughter, Deanne; sister, Pearl and an infant sister, Elizabeth.

Elaine is survived by her brother, Milton (Pam) Johnson; her son, DuWayne (Kerry) Larson; grandchildren, Brandon Larson, Crystal Larson, Trevor Larson and April Lamon; eight great grandchildren; two nephews, Phillip Ellingson and Milt Johnson Jr. and one niece, Debbie Harper.

Elaine will be cremated and a service will be held at Strandvik Church later this spring.
