Elizabeth Mary Moe

Elizabeth Mary was born on December 9, 1936 to Albert and Rose (Karnosh) Bleninger in Clements, MN.  She graduated from Mount Saint Benedicts High School with the class of 1954.  She furthered her education going to nursing school at the Detroit Lakes Vocational Technical Institute, now called M-State. She graduated from nursing school with a Practical Nursing degree with the class of 1968.

On September 14, 1955 Elizabeth married Kenneth Moe in Callaway, MN. The couple had one daughter, Patricia.  Elizabeth enjoyed being a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes, MN. She worked on the Med/ Surg floor for numerous years before retiring in 2009.  In her spare time, she enjoyed rummage sales, flea markets, visiting family, playing cards, and gardening. She was an avid Twins fan, and We-Fester.

Left to mourn Elizabeth’s passing is her daughter Patricia (Larry) Pickrain; grandchildren Wendy (Lance Roberson) Pickrain, Christy Pickrain, and Gregory (Megan) Pickrain; sister MaryAnne (Bud) Stebbins of Silver Bay, MN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; her parents Albert and Rose; brothers George and Greg Bleninger; her in laws, Andy and Gladys Moe and Art and Marion Moe; and her Husband’s parents, Elmer and Edna Moe.
