Jackie Fisher

Jacquelin Kay Ross Fisher, age 61, passed away on Monday, October 9th, 2017. Jackie was born March 14, 1956 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Jack and Jeanette Ross of Detroit Lakes.  She graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1975, before attending Detroit Lakes MState Vo-Tech for Medical Secretary.  Jackie then moved to Texas where she married Larry Fisher July of 1985.  She lived in Houston, TX and worked as a manager of Eckerd Drug.  In 2002 Jackie and her two kids Ginger and Nicholas Fisher moved to Goodland, MN and lived there for two years with her special friend, Michael Reynolds. Jackie and her family then moved to her home town, Detroit Lakes, MN where she went to work at L&M Fleet supply, working as head of the clothing Department for about 10 years. Jackie Loved to be at the lake.  She Loved humming birds and watching them eat by the cabin window while eating toast and sipping her coffee.  She loved to have family at the cabin and relax outside or in the water. She loved to go out on the pontoon with everyone and watch the kids fish.  She cherished all the time she had with her children.  She would do absolutely anything for children.  She loved going to the casino to get away and to be with friends.  She loved to play bingo and have dinners with her High School friends.  She adored all the little kids including her nieces and nephews.  Jackie would ALWAYS put everyone else before herself, whether it was to pitch in to help someone else, or to baby sit for others and stay back from events to let others go.  She was one of a kind. ❤ She touched so many people with all of her special ways.  She will be truly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanette Ross, her father Jack Q Ross, and her sister Nancy Ross. She is survived by her two children Nick Fisher of Fargo ND, Ginger Fisher of Fargo ND, three sisters Ellen Rodriguez of Detroit Lakes MN, Kathy (Stan) Turner of Georgia, Cindy (Lynn) Majewski of Goodland MN, and a brother Jon (Tammy) Ross of Moorhead MN.  She has one remaining aunt, Darlene King of Frazee (Aunty Doll).  She has many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends that she is leaving behind.
