Joshua "Josh" Lindblad, age 46, passed away in his home on May 18, 2026.

Josh was born on February 5, 1980, to Jane and Terry Lindblad. Raised in Moorhead, Minnesota, he was a proud graduate of Moorhead High School, Class of 1998. He went on to pursue his passion for creativity and technology at Minnesota State University Moorhead, which launched his career as a graphic designer. For many years, Josh brought his talent, sharp eye, and dedication to his work at Computype, Inc.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Josh was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, brother, and uncle. Family and friendship were the cornerstones of his life. He cherished simple, quality time spent with those he cared about, whether it was sitting around a campfire, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and Twins, or taking in the sights, sounds, tastes, and traditions of the Minnesota State Fair. Books and music were another great joy in his life, as he loved the adventure hidden within the pages and nothing more than the energy of a live concert surrounded by good friends.

Josh's warmth, gentle spirit, and easygoing nature will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Maneval; and grandparents Curtis and Arlys Lindblad. Josh is survived by his parents, Jane and Terry Lindblad; Grandmother Eloise Maneval, sibling Ashley (Corby) Nelson; nieces Taylor and Riley; and a wide circle of extended family, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. where family and friends may gather to honor and remember fond memories of Josh. The Celebration will be held at West-Kjos Funeral Home: 900 Summit Avenue; Detroit Lakes, MN 56501
