It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy Marie Moos, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and remarkable woman of God. Judy’s time here on earth came to an end on February 11th, 2026. She was 82 years old.
Judy was born on June 24th, 1943 in Benson Minnesota to Joseph and Lillian. She has three siblings: Weston, Faith, and Sharon. While attending Bible college, Judy met and fell in love with Vergil Moos and they were married on September 27th, 1963. Judy is survived by Vergil; her four children Kerry, Kevin, Kenton, and Kristi; and her 9 grandchildren.
Judy loved singing, laughing, teaching Sunday school, directing church choirs, cooking, baking, quilting, and raising canaries. She also really liked ice cream and chocolate! But those who knew her will mostly remember and miss her warmth and caring heart. She was generous to a fault, her kindness and compassion touching the lives of all who crossed her path.
Proverbs 31: 25-29 describes her life and impact perfectly, saying, “Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and teaching kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
Judy’s true passion and commitment was to know Jesus and making Him known, a desire that has been fulfilled in the legacy of faith of she has left behind. I am sure she heard the words, “Well done good and faithful servant” when she stood before her Savior and is now singing praises to God in the heavenly choir.
We miss you mom!
