Linda S. Severson

Linda S. Severson age 71 of Detroit Lakes, MN died November 20, 2017 at Ecumen – Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, MN. Linda Susan Severson was born April 8, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Norman and Phyllis (Schutt) Eff. She grew up in Toledo and graduated from High School there. Later in life she moved to Barnesville, MN for several years, and then to Pelican Rapids, MN for a few years, before moving to Detroit Lakes. Linda loved working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were everything to her as she was to them. Linda is survived by one son, Greg Severson, of Detroit Lakes, MN; two daughters, Robin Severson, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and April (Jeff) Honrud, of Detroit Lakes, MN; five grandchildren, Ashley Severson, Jordan Severson, Morgan Severson, Brenden Severson, and Miken Severson; two great grandchildren, Hayden Strader and McKenna Severson; two sisters, Sandra (Richard) Danko; and Cindy (John) Zuccarell; three brothers, Dave (June) Eff; Tim (Ruthie) Eff; and Joe Long; and several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Rick Eff and Jack Eff; stepfather, Donald Long; and her parents.
