Lloyd Kohler age 97 of Audubon, MN died October 14, 2025, at Sunnyside Care Center in Lake Park, MN.
Lloyd Kohler was born October 23, 1927, on a farm in rural Audubon, MN to James and Nora (Frazee) Kohler. He grew up and attended country school. He worked on the family farm and later worked the ice harvest on Big Detroit Lake, cutting and loading railcars with ice heading for Montana. While skating at the Detroit Lakes Roller Skating Rink, Lloyd met Pearl Johnson. They were united in marriage on December 18, 1949. They farmed on a few different farms in the area before settling on Pearl’s parents' home farm south of Audubon in 1970. They farmed there for many years.
Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and playing cards. Trips to the casino were a favorite for both Lloyd and Pearl. Lloyd served on the Lake Eunice Township Board for over thirty years and could be seen quite often out checking the township roads. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Club. His family and his faith were very important to him.
