Lynelle Denise Jacobson

Graveside service for Lynelle Denise Jacobson will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Lynelle Denise Jacobson was born December 19, 1955 in Moorhead, MN to Donald and Vivian (Rauk) Jacobson. She attended Moorhead High School, graduating in 1972. Lynelle then worked towards a degree in Social Work, studying for two years at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul and completing her degree at Moorhead State University. Lynelle worked for a time as an engraver for the Fargo Rubber Stamp Company and later as a nurse’s aide. Due to her parent’s health declining, Lynelle moved in with them at their lake home near Frazee. Lynelle continued to make her home at the lake until her passing. Lynelle was an avid swimmer and kept in contact with many of her swimming buddies. She loved life on the lake and often swam across the lake for fun. Besides swimming, Lynelle loved to dance, her partner often being her brother, Lydell. Along with swimming and dancing, Lynelle enjoyed jazz music and nature, especially her pets, her current "baby" being Deezel. Lynelle loved people, being around them and helping them. She could start up a conversation with anyone who happened to cross her path. Lynelle was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Vivian, and her brothers, Lydell and LeClaire. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Susan Jacobson of Fergus Falls.
