Marian Mackenthun

Marian "Sedberg" Mackenthun Born:   November 18,  1919     -     Died:   April 16,  2018 Marian (Sedberg) Mackenthun, age 98, of Detroit Lakes, MN peacefully passed away on  April 16, 2018 at Oak Crossing Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, MN. Marian was born November 18, 1919 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Fred and Dora (Schmidt) Sedberg.  She grew up in Detroit Lakes and graduated from Detroit Lakes High School.  She worked in her father's furniture store until she met and married Johnny Mackenthun.  Marian is survived by three sons: Donald (Linda) Mackenthun of Apple Valley, MN, Arnold (Linda) Mackenthun and Harold (Lorie Lee) Mackenthun both of Park Rapids, MN.; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Luella Gannarelli of Kewatin, MN. Preceding her in death were her husband, Johnny; son, Timothy; sisters: Violet Eidenschink, Bernice Syverson, Ardith Holmer and Ada Holmer.
