Marsha May Prady

Marsha Prady, age 86, of Frazee, Minnesota, passed away on January 21, 2026.

Marsha was born on May 15, 1939, in Crookston, Minnesota, to Lester and Florence Hauglid. On December 7, 1957, she was united in marriage to Russell Prady in Webster, South Dakota. They made their home in Crookston until 1960, when they moved to Minneapolis. The couple later purchased a home in Brooklyn Center, where they raised their family until Russell’s retirement in 1999.

Marsha and Russell built their beloved lake home in rural Frazee, where they eventually retired. The lake was Marsha’s favorite place to be—especially when surrounded by her family.

Marsha enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading a good book, working on crossword puzzles, and writing letters and sending cards to those she loved. She also cherished lunches with the ladies and loved bowling, participating in both women’s and couples’ leagues over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Prady; her son, Gordon Prady; and her granddaughter, Tracy Prady.

Marsha is survived by her children: Kelly (Michael) Kendle, Kevin (Sheryl) Prady, and Anthony Prady; along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will cherish her memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Marsha will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and the deep love she had for her family.
