Phyllis Bergerson

Phyllis Darlene Bergerson was born on February 21, 1941 in White Earth, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Fairbanks) Boswell. She passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota. She grew up in Elbow Lake Village and attended school in Waubun. Phyllis and her family moved to Detroit Lakes in the 1950’s and finished school. Phyllis was married in November of 1960 and to this union two children were born. Phyllis enjoyed cooking, gardening, gambling and playing scratch offs. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and caring for her pets. Phyllis was known for her sense of humor. She is survived by her children: Darlene Bergerson of Detroit Lakes; James Bergerson of Audubon; sister: Betty Johnson of Detroit Lakes; brother: James Boswell of Detroit Lakes; and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Evelyn Boswell; sisters: LeMay and Geraldine; brothers: Frank, William, Richard, Donald, Gerald, Darrell, Paul, and Terry.
