Ronald Lee Beyer

Ronald Lee Beyer was born August 29, 1965 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota the son of Roger and Beatrice (Kunz) Beyer. He passed away Friday November 5, 2021 at his home in Detroit Lakes.

He grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes graduating from Detroit Lakes high school, Class of 1983. On May 10, 1997 Ron was united in marriage to Donna Helliksen. They made their home in Detroit Lakes with their two son’s Brian and Blake.

Ron loved spending time with his family and with the friends who were family to him.

Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock concerts, mushroom picking, and especially enjoyed a bonfire where there was always cold beer, jokes, stories, and lots of laughter. Ron was the type of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, if he was wearing one.

He is survived by his wife: Donna Beyer; children: Brian, Blake, Ryan and McKinzie; brother: Roger Beyer; nephew: Casey; grandchildren: Baylee, Mia, Xavier; special niece and nephew: Ben and Eliana; sisters-in-law: Hope (Sid) Canham, Lisa (Tim) Moen; brother-in-law: Todd (Leonna) Helliksen; and many nieces nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents: Roger and Beatrice Beyer; his infant brother; grandparents: Lloyd and Eunice Gunderson, Adeline Gladue, Edward Kunz, Clarence and Helen Beyer; uncles: Randy and Richard Kunz; aunt: Maria Kunz; nephew: Zachary Beyer; and his beloved puppy, Athena.
