Sheila Marie Moberg

Sheila Marie Moberg age 85 of Detroit Lakes, MN came into the presence and peace of her Lord and Savior on October 7, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Sheila was born in Fergus Falls, MN on September 3, 1939, the daughter of Bernt and Fern (Hansen) Eggen. Sheila attended school in Detroit Lakes, MN. She moved to California with her family after the eighth grade and graduated from Inglewood High School in 1957. She married Frank Barrow and they raised their two sons in the Los Angeles area. Sheila returned to Detroit Lakes in 1983. She married her school classmate John Moberg in 1993

Sheila was a wonderful wife, loving mother, watchful grandmother, caring sister, and supportive friend. She lived life and lived Christ. God has Sheila in his keeping and we have her in our hearts. It is well with Sheila’s soul. God is so good.

Sheila is survived by her sons, Michael Barrow and Stephen Barrow; precious granddaughter, Molly Barrow; four much loved grandchildren who called her Granny, Matthew and Noah Moberg, Hailey and Lauren Olson; sisters, Betty Lerud, Enola Mattson, and Lucy Hennings; brother, Tyrone (Anne) Eggen; and many nieces and nephews who were always very dear and valued and a big part of her life.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, John (2019); her parents; brother, Randall (Eleanore) Eggen; stepfather, Nilmar Hovelsrud; brothers in law, Glenn Mattson, Duane Hennings, and David Lerud.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday October 25, 2024; 11:00 a.m. at the West-Kjos Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
