Stanley (Stan) S. Kepler, age 59 of Detroit Lakes, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2020 at his home.
Stan was born and raised in Richland Center, WI. He has worked at the Cenex in Detroit Lakes for the last ten years.
Stan loved Shelly, his wife of 21 years, the Packers, the Cubs, hunting fishing, morel mushrooms, and animals, especially his special lab, Remmie.
Stan is survived by his wife, Shelly Kepler of Detroit Lakes; two sisters, Yvonne (James) Craig of Richland Center, WI and Marilyn (Mike) Morton of Clear Lake IA; son, Jeff (Amy) Kepler of West Salem, WI; daughter, Bobbi Jo Kepler of Boaz, WI; stepdaughter, Kacey (Steven) Buckner of Candler, NC; three stepsons, Shannon Hayes of New York, Shane (Crystal) Hayes of Lufkin, TX, Ricky Rawson Jr. and Derek (Shannon) Rawson, both of Ashville, NC; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Downing and Mariel Kepler of Richland Center, WI; aunts and uncles.
Stan’s ashes will be scattered at the former family farm in Richland Center, WI at a later date.
Memorials are preferred to the family.
