Alice E. Heille age 72 of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota died Thursday June 3, 2010 at Merit Care Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.

Alice was born on October 2, 1937 in Frazee, Minnesota to Edward and Edna Jahnke Grindberg. The family moved to Mapleton, North Dakota when Alice was a young girl. She grew up and attended school there. On February 16, 1959 she was united in marriage to Clyde Heille in Fargo, ND. They made their home in Mapleton, and later moved to Fargo where she worked at Elieses’s Drapery Shop. They moved to Detroit Lakes, MN in 1970, where she owned and operated Alice’s Draperies. Alice enjoyed gardening and motorcycle trips with her husband.

Alice is survived by one son, Shane (Tamera) Heille, of Detroit Lakes, MN; two granddaughters, Ebony (Justin) Norberg, of Columbia Falls, MT; and Memory Heille, of Mpls, MN; four brothers, Ralph (Belva) Grindberg, of Detroit Lakes, MN; Arnold (Jane) Grindberg, of Fargo, ND; Conrad (Valira) Grindberg, of Leonard, ND; Wayne (Patricia) Grindberg, of Fargo, ND; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by, her parents, husband, Clyde (1996), and one sister Janice Grindberg.
